Hunger Fighter Patch Program  Girls receiving their well-earned patches. Local girls increasing hunger awareness through a new patch program. The Houston Food Bank invites girls of all ages to participate in the Hunger Fighter Patch Program. By involving themselves in the patch program, girls will work through a series of educational activites that address hunger as an issue in our community known as "Hunger 101"; donate their time by volunteering at the Portwall Warehouse; and host a food drive. Once the girls have completed the program requirements, the Houston Food Bank will distribute complimentary Hunger Fighter patches.
