September is Hunger Action Month

Hunger Action Month was created to involve others in the community and motivate them to join forces to ultimately have a greater impact in the fight against hunger. The official color of hunger relief is orange. Throughout the month of September the Houston Food Bank and our partners in hunger relief are raising awareness about the issue. It is a national effort and the more people involved, the bigger an impact we have in the fight against hunger: Donate. Volunteer. Use your voice. Check out what we have going on this month.
