KHOU-11 Summer Food Drive

Summer is a season of great need for the Houston Food Bank. With many children out of school, families are faced with tough decisions during the summer – purchasing groceries or paying the utility bills. KHOU-11 is once again partnering with the Houston Food Bank to conduct a summer food drive to support families struggling to put food on the tablewhile school is out. The food drive began Monday, July 6, and will continue until Sunday July 19.

To contribute to the KHOU-11 Summer Food Drive, simply drop your non-perishable food donation into one of the Red Barrels located in over 250 local grocery stores, or bring your donation directly to the Houston Food Bank on or before July 19. You can also bring your donations to the KHOU-11 studio during its live donation day on Friday, July 17 from 6am-6pm.
