Hunger Dinner

f.r.e.s.h. young professionals will host the upcoming Hunger Dinner on Wednesday, June 24 from 6-8pm at IKEA Houston (7810 Katy Freeway) in celebration of their one year anniversary. f.r.e.s.h. is partnering with IKEA Houston to provide an eye-opening experience on the issues of hunger in our community. The truth is that on any given day, some 66,200 individuals in the Houston Food Bank service area are hungry. Participants will draw a ticket that randomly assigns them to an income level. Attendees will receive a meal that represents their income tier. The event will be emceed by KHOU’s Lily Jang followed by a reception with dinner provided by IKEA and drinks provided by Leprechaun Cider.

Tickets are $25 for f.r.e.s.h. members and IKEA family members and $35 for the general public. Tickets include dinner, drinks and complimentary swag bag. Get your Hunger Dinner ticket here
