My Brother's Keeper - health screenings

"Each person registered for the program commits to come to the office so that we can check their pedometer and record their steps," says Renae Nelson, CEO My Brother's Keeper.  "At the time of their visit they get a weekly handout of nutritional information and an exercise handout.  While they and other clients are waiting to be seen by intake staff they watch nutritional videos. A little quiz follows and clients can win prizes.  At the end of the nine week pedometer challenge the male and female with the highest steps wins a grand prize.  Everything wraps up on July 11 at our next Health and Wellness Fair, where participants will have their screenings done again and be able to see if there are any differences in their previous screenings."

My Brother's Keeper will continue these challenges and increase the time up to 12-weeks.  After that they will start again with an eight-week challenge.  Each time they have gained more and more clients eager to participate.
