February 2014 Update

Kids Cafe cute girl The Keegan Kitchen is a 3,700 square foot facility at the Mary Barden Keegan Center located on the North Freeway just north of downtown Houston. With help from volunteers, meals are prepared for Kids Cafe and Summer Feeding Programs. The production of all meals is overseen by Chef Jose Montoya. Chef has years of experience bringing skill and love to the menu and food he prepares. The meals are healthy and balanced. Children with full tummies can focus more on school and will grow to be healthy adults.

Kids Cafe

Meals are prepared for school aged children and served at after-school and summer programs.
Last fiscal year, 296,672 meals were prepared and distributed through Kids Cafe.

Volunteer at Keegan

Come volunteer! We need you Mondays - Fridays, from either 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Volunteers 14 years of age and older are welcome. Sign up on our website.
